Lola B0690 chassis no.1. Mountune engine, pace sump. Elite sequential gearbox. (instead of the current Hewland FTR which was primarily introduced to standardise suspension with the Lola school car single seater). Chris Manns Lola T492
Owned by me since 1996 this car is the prettiest and arguably the best historic Sports 2000 Lola in existence.
Totallly rebuilt by Mike Lee of One-Off Engineering following an argument with the Armco at Spa Francorchamps in 1999 the car has been raced only sparingly but successfully since then.
In 2002 it competed in the Lola Heritage race at the VSCCs British Empire Trophy Race at Donington Park. Open to Lola sports-racing cars built between 1963 and 1979 the race was held in appalling conditions and my car, driven by Anthony Wilds, achieved an amazing outright victory against a field which included a number of well known Lola 70s as well as Lola chairman Martin Birranes own T212.
Since then its only race outings have been with Anthony Wilds driving in the SRCCs 2007 Historic Sports 2000 series, including Cadwell Park (pole position) and Oulton Park (fastest lap and new class lap record).
This is a truly superb car, ready to go and eligible not only for historic Sports 2000 but also the new
SPEED Sports Prototype two-driver long distance racing series. It needs to be used and enjoyed rather than sitting in my motor-house.

Gunn TS8
Gunn TS8. Proven race-winning car (ex Loaded Gunn). 3 meetings only last season (1 DNF due to backmarker with mirror problem, 2 Derek Bell Trophy wins) after gearbox and diff rebuild by Elite and suspension rebuild by Loaded Gunn. Slicks and wets, Stack dash, Quantum shocks. Engine recently checked and setup on HiTechs rollers. This car can win again (Mike Jenvey has shown what they can do!), but sadly I have neither the time nor the talent to do it justice so will slide gracefully towards retirement. Even in my hands in a few outings it has achieved a best qualifying position of 3rd and won the Derek Bell Trophy class 4 times. The last two cars I have sold went on to win championships - you can ask the buyers whether my descriptions were accurate. Reynard S2
Chassis No 1. The first Reynard Sports 2000 1988/9 . Rebuilt in the early 1990s with a later body by Pedrazza this car has had a considerable amount of work and is much tidied after purchase in Germany. The original blown engine has been replaced and a new clutch has just been fitted, the car is on the button ready to test.
There has been some work on the suspension with new front dampers and springs. This has helped handling and there is certainly more to come with very little outlay now. Spare set of wheels included
The body and paintwork are in excellent condition, as was the gearbox when I last raced it. Has been out once since then at Donington finishing in the top ten from the very back of the grid owing to fact water was mixed with the fuel. Not a good idea! A top three placing at Silverstone earlier in the year too.
There is also a superb trailer, fully covered, in silver (exactly the same as my own black one) currently available which was built to take this car and has never been used other than to store some spares. Car is £16500 and the trailer is £5500 plus VAT. Will of split of course.

This could be a cheap car for someone in the UK as the engine could be sold in the US and sent over as a roller.
I ran the car in the American City Racing League and the SCCA Pro Sports Racer series (National Champion) in a twin-cam Cosworth configuration, before converting to a Pinto motor and the new approved Aluminum head. The motor has two weekends on it. The body is Carbon Fiber and the package includes a second fiber glass body and plenty of spares, including a second 2-liter motor (needs rebuild). The car was built and has been maintained by Auto Spa (www.auto-spa.com) to the highest standards. This car has many wins -- and the current Thunderhill Raceway S2 track record.

Chassis B54-82-06 was supplied new to US based Team Essex in 1982 and re imported to the UK in 1998.
It has has had very light use since new and this is reflected in its exceptional never damaged condition.
